Introduction
This privacy notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the «GDPR») and of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, as amended), taking into account the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
The website to which this notice refers is www.joinx.it (the «Site»), the showcase website of Start&Go, the technology arm of the Join Business Management Consulting Group.
The Data Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). You may therefore address any request directly to the Data Controller at the contact details above.
General information
This document describes how the Data Controller processes the personal data provided through the Site. The Site is an informational showcase website: it does not offer the online sale of products or services, nor the creation of user accounts.
The main processing activities are described below, together with the relevant legal basis, whether the provision of data is mandatory or optional, and the consequences of any refusal.
Browsing data
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (for example IP addresses, browser and device type, operating system, request times).
This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct operation and security. The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in ensuring the security and proper delivery of the Site.
Contact requests
If you contact us through the details published on the Site (for example the email address or the contact forms), the data you provide will be processed solely to handle your request. Providing the data is optional, but refusal makes it impossible to reply. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in responding to users' requests and, where the request is aimed at starting a relationship, the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Job applications and recruitment
If you spontaneously send us your curriculum vitae (for example to sales@startegois.com), the data it contains will be processed exclusively for recruitment purposes and to assess your application. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Please do not include in your CV any data belonging to special categories (Article 9 GDPR), as it is not necessary for the assessment. The data of applicants who are not selected is kept for the time needed for the selection process and in any case no longer than 24 months, unless you consent otherwise.
Cookies and tracking tools
The Site uses cookies and similar tools. For details of the types used, their purposes and how to manage consent, please see the Cookie Policy.
Disclosure of data
Your personal data may be disclosed, only to the extent strictly necessary to carry out the purposes indicated above, to the following categories of recipients:
- providers of technical and IT services (hosting, maintenance, security, email), acting as data processors;
- consultants and professionals (legal, administrative and tax) and companies of the Join Group, where necessary;
- public authorities and supervisory bodies, where disclosure is required by law or by measures of the Authorities.
The Data Controller does not transfer your personal data to third parties for their own independent purposes.
Transfer of data outside the EU
Some technical service providers (for example hosting and analytics platforms) may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the Data Controller ensures that the transfer takes place to countries for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision, or on the basis of appropriate safeguards (for example the Standard Contractual Clauses).
Data retention
Personal data is kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and, subsequently, for the time required by legal obligations. In particular: contact data is kept for the time needed to handle the request; curricula vitae for the period indicated in the relevant section; browsing data for the technically necessary time.
Rights of the data subject
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- access your personal data and obtain its rectification or erasure;
- obtain restriction of processing or object to it;
- receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (portability);
- withdraw at any time any consent given, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority — www.garanteprivacy.it).
These rights may be exercised informally by writing to sales@startegois.com.
